The objective of this project is creating a dashboard called MentalH which provides mental health information and helps us monitor the mood in San Diego area. This dashboard was developed by Cheng-Chia Huang, Joey Lee, and Zhengcong Yin during and won the Most Thorough Design and Development Award in 2017 San Diego Big Data Hackathon.

A web map is on the center of this dashboard. When clicking one of the city in San Diego area, the locations of all twits with negative sentiment show on the map. At the mean time, other mental health and hospital information also show on this dashboard. Also, we can sent a message to a specific Twiter user.

The web map is based on ArcGIS API for JavaScript, and the sentiment analysis is based on Natural Language Toolkit. The data used were retrieved from Livewell and Twiter API.
